Managing licenses
As a runZero superuser or billing user, you can view and manage your organization’s licensing, plan, and billing information.
If you aren’t a superuser or billing user, ask your organization’s superuser or billing user for help with licensing and billing. These users are tagged with a yellow star.
How do I view my license?
As a superuser or billing user, go to Account > License to view your runZero licensing information.
The License page shows:
- How many organizations, sites, Explorers, and user accounts you have.
- How many recent assets you have across all organizations.
- How many project assets you have.
- How many recent assets and project assets your license supports in total.
What counts as recent assets?
runZero counts how many assets were seen during the last 30 days. If a scan has seen an asset in the last 30 days, it counts as recent. If third party data reports the device was seen in the last 30 days, it also counts.
License limits are the same for every asset type. Online or offline, scanned or unscanned, and whatever the source of the data, the asset counts the same way. When an asset has multiple data sources with different last-seen dates, the most recent date applies.
runZero recalculates the recent asset count in the background, so after you delete assets the number may take a short while to update.
When does my subscription expire?
Go to Account > License to see when your subscription or license expires.
Find the line: This is a runZero [edition] subscription that expires at [date and time].
An expired subscription shows This is a runZero [edition] subscription that expired on [date and time]. instead, and you can no longer run discovery scans. To keep using runZero, renew your subscription.
